Birdwatch Flexes Show Hours

Want to pack more into your Atlanta trip this January?

You will enjoy the new schedule for Birdwatch America. The leading trade show for outdoor nature products, with a focus on birding, will run Friday and Saturday this year

And retail seminars will run during the show, rather than requiring retailers to travel a day early to attend sessions before Birdwatch exhibits open.

“After listening to suggestions and feedback from both our buyers and exhibitors, we have reshaped many components of our event to create the most positive business building atmosphere here at Birdwatch America,” says Tim von Gal, vice president of Urban Expositions, the show’s owner and operator.

On Friday night, Birdwatch will stay open later, until 7 p.m., with free hors d’oeuvres on the show floor. The first 100 buyers to arrive at the show on Friday, January 9 and Saturday, January 10 will receive a special tote bag filled with free gifts from many of the show’s exhibitors.

Programs led by birding and retail industry experts will run each morning and afternoon on Friday and Saturday.  The full schedule will be announced in upcoming weeks.

Birdwatch America is held each January at Atlanta’s Georgia International Convention Center, near the airport, at 2000 Convention Center Concourse.
